The Real Movement of the Working Class

This website exists to explain (and make a case for) the real movement to abolish the current state of things: Communism.

Give me a break!

The odds of changing someone's mind on the internet is slim to none, of course. But if you are confident in your anti-communist stance, all the more reason to reaffirm *why* it is you came to that conclusion. It never hurts to become more secure in your beliefs through exposure. Plus, it will help you better understand the logic of your opponents.

Why do you call it "the real movement"?

It's referring to a quote by Karl Marx:

"Communism is for us not a state of affairs which is to be established, an ideal to which reality [will] have to adjust itself. We call communism the real movement which abolishes the present state of things. The conditions of this movement result from the premises now in existence.

Basically, it establishes one of the most important aspects of communism: contrary to what you may have heard, it is not really an ideology to be implemented. From a Marxist perspective, communism is the naturally occuring result of the tensions between forces of our current society. It is not theoretical, it is the permanent struggle of the working class given name.

Ok, but what actually *is* it?

At its basic fundamentals, Marxism consists of 3 things:

For a better overview, please read Principles of Communism by Friedrich Engels. I promise, it's very quick and easy to understand. It is essential to read the foundational texts of Communism in order to actually understand it. 99/100 supposed damning criticisms of Communism are reiterations of the same misconceptions that Marx addressed 150 years ago.
